Vimek continues to grow and employ

The demands on us as supplier increases every year that goes, and it’s about offering our customers an added value, says Fredrik Lundberg, Managing Director at Vimek. Therefore we have added a After Sales Manager into our organization and also employed in sales and production to be able to live up to the increased demands from the market and our increased production volumes.

Turnover record again

The production is running on full speed at the moment at the leading manufacturer of low impact and cost effective forestry machines, Vimek. Vimek has annouce that they once again have set a new turnover record and that the companies long perspective plans continues to develops well!
Of course have the deliveries to Belarus at the end of 2016 been positive for the companies positive development.

Increase focus on after market

— We see the need of a strong organization behind each delivered product. It’s about an added value such as service and a after market organization close to our customers but also good documentation, education materials and spare parts supply, says Vimeks Managing Director Fredrik Lundberg. During 2016 Vimek has improved the position to be the leading manufacturer of low impact and cost effective forest machines both in Sweden and on established export countries.

Employs

With the growth Vimek has done last year, the company organization needs to be strengthened even more, to live up to demands from customers for a forest machine manufacturer like Vimek.

New After Sales Manager will be Urban Lundström, previous working with Sales and marketing on export countries in Europe. — Urban is a well known for many in the business and with his years at Komatsu Forest as well as the years at Vimek, Urban has all the tools needed to be successful in his new position, says Fredrik.

As new Area Sales Manager, Vimek has employed Ola Lindström with a background from different kind of businesses in the supplychain of woodindustry at the Scandinavian markets. Both marketing and sales, production businesses as well as employee and industrialentreprenuer, he has been running his own companies for serveral years.

Electronic parts catalogue on the webb

— In the beginning of 2017 we will launch a complete new web based platform (Vimek EPC), an electronic parts catalogue of the Webb. A new tool for our dealers in their service and after market work against our customers. We want to be working close to our customers and be able to offer the best service, support and after market says Fredrik.

— A huge fact why we have these success is due to our engaged employees, as they are interested in our business and working targeted, says a pleased Fredrik Lundberg that sees a bright future for Vimek.
